RenewableUK and our members share a vision of a net zero transition that is better for people and places, as well as our planet. Societies across the UK and globally are grappling with the opportunities and challenges the energy transition throws up.

• This award will recognise a company, organisation or project that has achieved excellence or pioneered new approaches to social impact.
• We know that the communities and social groups our industry works with are extremely wide ranging so we would encourage applications reflecting that broad range of settings – engagement with local community groups, collaboration with skills institutions, support for underprivileged or remote communities, Covid support, local infrastructure investment, climate education outreach or a local recruitment programme
