Event safeguarding code of conduct

We strive for all RenewableUK events and conferences to be a positive and inclusive experience from beginning to end. We celebrate the diversity of all our attendees, exhibitors, and staff and will not tolerate discriminatory behaviour by or towards anyone taking part in our events. By attending a RenewableUK event, you’re agreeing to respect and be kind to everyone present, regardless of their gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability or any other aspect of what they look like, where they come from or who they are.

RenewableUK is dedicated to providing a respectful and harassment-free working environment. It is paramount that everyone involved in the work of Solar Energy UK, or who attends an event/meeting for RenewableUK feel comfortable, safe and respected. We do not tolerate harassment of employees in any form. Members violating these rules may be subject to sanctions.

This Event safeguarding code of conduct (“Event safeguarding code of conduct”) guides everyone who participates in or attends RenewableUK conferences, meetings, or other sponsored events (“events”), including members, non-members, employees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and other guests (“attendees”).

The facilities covered by this Event safeguarding code of conduct include any venue, hotel, meeting room, or RenewableUK office location where a RenewableUK Event takes place, as well as at off-site locations where event-related social gatherings take place.
