Overview

Following on from the inaugural successful Smart Energy conference in 2018, NIRIG will host Smart Energy 2019 on 10 April at the MAC Belfast.

2019 will be a crucial year for the low-carbon sector in NI as we assess whether our renewable targets will be met and plan out the next phase of our energy transition. The fluid political context cannot distract us from the opportunities for clean growth. Northern Ireland needs to step up efforts to deliver low-carbon electricity to benefit consumers, businesses and society.
