Celtic Sea Cluster
The Celtic Sea Cluster Board was established by Welsh Government and Cornwall & Isle of Scilly LEP and supported by Marine Energy Wales, Cornwall Council owned Wave Hub Development Services Ltd (trading as Celtic Sea Power) and Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult. The Board has agreed Terms of Reference and identified enabling actions to be delivered through working groups to accelerate market creation in the Celtic Sea, identify project pipeline and reduce project timelines, mobilise the regional supply chain, establish a strategy for infrastructure and help deliver the Governments Offshore Wind Sector Deal for UK content. The CSC Board now includes The Crown Estate as an associate member, representation from the Celtic Sea Developers Alliance and UK Government BEIS as a formal observer. The Celtic Sea Cluster was formally launched in Cardiff, Wales, in September 2021 and now has over 120 members and is developing a strategic board membership to include local government representation.
