The US offshore wind market has been the topic of many headlines in the past year, having caught the attention of the world’s leading developers. Capacity targets announced by states on the eastern coast take the US to over 8GW capacity installed by 2030, with New York alone aiming for 9GW worth of projects to be deployed by 2035. State governments and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) continue to announce new solicitation and leasing rounds, adding to existing project timelines and incentivising local supply chain development. Discussions now focus on promoting local workforce development, upgrading port infrastructure and enhancing domestic manufacturing capacities. With the majority of projects currently undergoing consenting and in planning to be commissioned by the mid-2020s, developers and communities are working to create local infrastructure and resource capacities in time for efficient project execution. As well as drawing on expertise from the Oil and gas Sector work offshore the industry is also open to learning from international experience of offshore wind deployment.

The event leads the way in bringing the major developers and US supply chain together with international players from around the world. As well as a comprehensive conference program to update you on the market the opportunity to exhibit as a part of the UK group will give you the opportunity to showcase your technologies and services.

Grants of £1,500 are available towards your participation. Book before 8th March  for the early bird discountRegister your interest.
