The Cost Review in its Broader Policy and Strategic Context

Led by Chair, Ben Backwell, Managing Director, FTI Consulting, the session will draw out the wider context in which the cost review will come into:

  • How will the recommendations interact with the numerous reforms underway?
  • How can new disruptive technologies increase the efficiency and performance of our energy system and how will the review recognize their potential?
  • What is the future of renewable energy support? Will unsubsidized markets, however defined, begin to emerge?
