RenewableUK Wind & Aviation: A Collaborative Approach to Decarbonisation?
Thursday 17 - Friday 18 September 2020
A holistic approach to the decarbonisation of transport and power, which supports the growth of both the wind energy and aviation (defence and civil) sectors, is now required for the UK to achieve net-zero by 2050. As offshore and onshore wind technologies scale up to support our modern low-carbon energy system, there will be challenges which must be addressed strategically, as well as numerous opportunities for the UK supply chain and export market.
Join us virtually on 17-18 September at Wind & Aviation 2020 to discuss the future needs of aviation, operating in partnership with modern wind energy infrastructure. The 2-day programme is a key opportunity to:
- Hear from key industry stakeholders, experts and government departments on the latest policy, regulatory and workstream updates
- Participate in 4 facilitated workshops on The Surveillance Environment, Lighting and Marking, UAS and Helicopters
- Build upon the RenewableUK Wind & Aviation 2019 post-event report to help shape and progress our draft action plan.
