Jerry Carnell Special Commendation

Applications: 05 September - 18 November 2016

RenewableUK are pleased to invite applications for an award to recognise individuals who have made an outstanding health and safety contribution within the Renewable Energy Sector. This prestigious award will complement the Renewable Energy Health & Safety Award 2017. For further information download the awards flyer below.

Jerry Carnell Award 2017

The Award has been created in recognition of Jerry Carnell who in 2015 passed away following a short but serious health condition. Jerry was a long standing and active member of many industry safety groups and was instrumental in championing a variety of health & safety projects. He was also a highlyrespected professional who made a substantial contribution to raising H&S standards in the sector. The Award is fully supported by Jerry’s family and his industry colleagues. The Award aims to recognise any individual whose contribution has made a difference to enhancing health and safety in the industry.  The criteria is intentionally very open and will consider any individual in any role (not just health & safety) across the whole supply chain.
